No source code?
Where is the source code? I used to use C# Corner often, however, there seems to be an increasing trend to post articles with unformatted, difficult-to-read pasted code. Is there no quality control on this site? In order to add value to the site and make the contributions more useful, I would strongly suggest making the code available seperately in a zipped file. I also agree with the suggestion to look at The Code Project as an example of a well structured, easy to use site.

Hi John,
Do you have an example of these two points?
Also, we are in Beta testing of "Ideas" section where our members can sumbit their ideas. Please take a look here and post anything you would like to suggest.

Appreciate your help.

Thank you for your feedback John.
We will consider these points in mind for the next features list and will try to implement as much as we can.

- [code] doesn't exist to put code into unformated regions as just about every other forum on programming accepts BBCode.
- To make it worse, there is no button on the WYSIWYG editor to add a code block.
- The preview posts back to the server instead of using AJAX/Javascript to show you a preview without taking you away from your edit box.
- Navigating the insane number of categories in this forum is just silly.
- It's clunky in Firefox or any browser with a Gecko rendering engine. More programmers (ie: web developers) use Firefox, Opera, etc. compared to IE because of the developer add-ons you can get for Firefox.
- I can't find any sticky/announcement style forum thread/post to provide help for formatting with this forum???
Wouldn't it make sense for the owner(s)/administrator(s) of C# Corner to tailor the forums to programmers, from green to veteran alike?Mahesh ChandPosted Sep 18, 2007, 6:28 AM
Thanks Deon.
We do have source code downloads if an article has source code in it. However, it is difficult to notice right now. In next version, we are changing the formatting so it will be easy to notice and download.
We are also working on a better quality control. Work in progress.
