NodeJS is Mandatory for the TypeScript ?

Well for that you need to have tsconfig.json file to compile using typescript compiler

 

Because tsconfig file defines basic setting of typescript and compilation

Thank you for the reply but my requirement is only to convert the TypeScript file into JavaScript file by the help of TypeScript compiler i.e. tsc. 

 

So i don't have the tsconfig.json

 

Comming to the next, Here only question is"How to get TypeScript compiler in system without NodeJS.

No . We don't need nodejs for compilation of typescript to javascript

 

There are two option for conversion :

 

- using tsconfig.json

- using inbuilt typescript compiler
