Not able to get metadata of sub folders using SPList object.

Question

Hi,
I am trying to export metadata of the items in the list and in the document library. But when i go to a sub folder in the document library and, try to export the metadata i always get the metadata of the root folder. Not able to figure out how to get the details for the sub folders.
Any help i this regard would me much appreciated.
