npm WARN deprecated minimatch@0.3.0: Please update to minimatch 3.0.2 or higher to avoid a RegExp DoS issue How i solve this error when i try to restore package.json i got this error

Hello This is happening just because of version mismatch Solution : Update your specific package of minimatch by using below npm commands // To clean npm cache npm cache clean --force // Update minimatch to its latest version npm update minimatch@3.0.4 npm update -d Another Solution : Try to update all packages using below command // To update all packages ng update If you face any error like package.json not found, you can try below solution : // To update angular-cli ng update @angular/cli And check you nodejs version install, i would suggest to update nodejs as well Let me know if you need more help Thanks

Hi , In the command window . Go to your application where you have added the application and execute the below command: npm outdated -depth=3 It will show all the required package for you application and you can check which one is deprecated and update according to your angular application. update nodejs node version is 8.10.3 and npm is- 3.10.10 when is use -npm update and ng update @angular/cli show an error could not find package.json
