Somehow, I tend to do it differently. It is a small bit of business logic which can safely be moved to back-end. Why not select row colour in your original query itself and just use that column here as in: select ...., case when growth and use this value in your code.

Your eval expression returns a DBNull value, apply a if condition before converting to Int32. This will fix the issue

Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types.
