On transparency

oops! i thought this was vb.net, not C#.... please ignore what i said.

why not use me.opacity = 50% wouldn't that make a partly transparent form?

Whoa, that's way out of my league! Guess I'll have to compromise somewhere... Is there even a good reason TransparencyKey won't work above 24-bit?

TransparentKey is the only way to do it in .NET managed code for. try using native api's http://builder.com.com/5100-6373-5031805.html#Listing%20A (vb code but that will tell u the apis u need)
