Onchage value of date it needs retrieve details in c# winfor

I have datepicker and below I have datagridview table have empid,empname,attendstatus.
Now I need if I change date it needs to retrieve table values .depending on date .

How this is possible in c# win form.

On change date it need to call retrieve function.

Write Following Code on DateTimePicker ValueChanged Event.

private void DateTimePicker1_ValueChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)
{
SqlConnection con=new SqlConnection(ConnectionString) ;
SqlCommand cmd=new SqlCommand(select * from YourTableName where Date=DateTimePicker1.SelectedValue, con);
SqlDataAdapter adpt=new SqlDataAdapter(cmd);
DataTable dt=new DataTable();
Adpt.Fill(dt);
DataGridView.DataSource=dt;
}
