I say look at some existing websites of bus booking or any other reservation system like pvr, bookmyshow, redbus.in . I could think of below approaches what you can look forward at e.g., 

# you give user visual look where user can pick seat (which I love the most...)
# I'm assuming you've different categories of ticket in bus or if not then allocate tickets based on sequence order of reservation, ex- if there are 60 seats then sequentially allocate seats
