open the last closed file in word2010

Hello,

Recently I often close the word document by mistake. I'm just thinking that it will be great if Word have the option to open the last colsed word document. You know, we can reopen closed tab in a browser. Is that possible? Thanks for any help.

If you mean that you want a button like "reopen the closed word file", a VBA macro will help. Try this one:

I think this is only possible when you are maintaining the filenames after its closing function. Just like as undo/redo works
