i have creted one list<>. Now, I want to pass that list<> to webservice. Is it possible???how???

Hi,

You created a web service. And you are passing parameters to the method.

Query: From where you want to call web service from javascript/jquery or windows form or any aspx page? Please answer.

In below code you can add one more variable for list like List

public bool CommonImageBuyDetail(int userid, DateTime imagebuydate, double totalammount, int banktransactionid, string checkout, List imageList)

hii.. im working on vs12 and mysql db.
there are 2 tables in db..imagebuy and imagebuydetail.
imagebuy contain imagebuyid,userid,imagebuydate,totalammount,banktransactionid,checkout etc
imagebuydetail contain imagebuydetailid,imagebuyid(fk of imagebuy),imageid,discountprice,subscriptionid etc.
Now i want create list<> for imagebuydetail and pass this list <> to webservice.
Create a webservice which pass all parameters of imagebuy and list<> of imagebuydetail.

[WebMethod]
public bool CommonImageBuyDetail(int userid, DateTime imagebuydate, double totalammount, int banktransactionid, string checkout)
{
imagebuy ib = new imagebuy(-1, userid, Convert.ToDateTime(imagebuydate), totalammount, banktransactionid, checkout);

a = ib.Insert();
foreach (imagebuydetail imgbdid in imageList)
{
a = t.imageDetail();
}
return a;

Hi,

Please describe more what is your environment like you are calling from AJAX request to web service or you are calling from server side or windows/web application.

You can paste some part your code to understand better(if you implemented something).
