parallel port alternatives in laptop

i'm having laptop of dell from inspiron series and it's not having any parallel port...
but i need to perform parallel port programming using c#
Is there any way to attach parallel port to my laptop?
i've already used usb to parallel port convertor but i't not working well

Have you used USB to parallel conversion cable for converting USB port to parallel port. If u have not used then try to use this. i think it may solve your problem.
