What iss the difference between partial page and partial view in mvc 4.7?

there is nothing like partial page there are partial view and partial class if you have a class which has huge number of methods then just for shake of simplicity you can create two physical class with same name but partial then then will be auto merged at run time. Partial view is a logical view , i said it logical because it can't be used independently, means you can not run a partial view itself , a partial view will always be inside a main view. partial views are used for reusable user interface , suppose you have a design of a form which you want to use in different different pages then instead of creating several views you can create a partial view and you can refer the same partial view on any main view. please go through the mentioned article , i have explained in a great detail about this concept. https://www.sharpencode.com/article/MVC/partial-views

There is no any partial page in asp.net MVC. ASP.NET MVC has view, partial view and shared view.

MVC view contains the layout page. • Before any view is rendered, the view start page is rendered. • View might have markup tags like the body, HTML, head, title, meta, etc. • Partial does not contain the layout page. In MVC Partial view is designed specially to render within the view and just because of that it does not consist of any mark-up. • Partial View is lightweight as compare to View.
