passing variable from mdichild form the mdiparent form

when i need to pass variable from parent to the child i make a new constructor in the child as public childform(int x) { do somehting; } so when i pass the variable "var" from the parent form i make int var=5; childform ch_form=new childform(var); but assume after i have created the child form i want to pass a vlaue from it to the parent what code should i add-------> "I Don't Know How"
