Patching with VB.NET

Sorry to be funny. It is called versioning. Your Studio project has a file called AssemblyInfo.VB The file contains assembly information and one line has: When the source code is compiled the compiler uses the assembly information for the executables and library files that are created. If you used AssemblyVersion("1.0.0.0"), the set-up program would bark that the version on the install computer is the current version every time you install. Using the default "1.0.*" means that each compile will generate a new version. You then only have to set the "DetectNewerInstalledVersion" and "RemovePreviousVersion" properties of the setup project to True. Hope this helps
