Path reference of image folder and css

Question

Hello,
I wonder that I specify a path of image folder in css file as below.

background: #FFF url(../images/bg.gif) repeat-x;

At my develop computer is no problem . BUT...

the images did not show once I deploy to production computer.... why ?

any expert please advice....

It depends on where the css file is be placed. For example . Case A --ImageFolder --CssFolder -- CssFile // here , you should write url(../ ImageFolder /bg.gif) Case B --ImageFolder -- CssFile // here , you should write url( ImageFolder /bg.gif)

Hi , I have read your source , but sorry that , i cannt excute it . But from your source , you are in case B in my last post . So you should to change your url(../images/bg.gif) to url(images/bg.gif)

Hello natchaya, Check images folder location path is correct or not. try this background: #FFF url(/images/bg.gif) repeat-x; or background: #FFF url(images/bg.gif) repeat-x; Thanks Ajitender vijay
