Payment gateway without business.

Is it possible to receive money from people, who are willing to pay for online help on some projects through payment gatway even when i have no registered company.

I think it will be illegal or i will be unable to debit amount from bank without showing the necessary documents?

It is legal but different service provider had some norms, if you are fulfilling his required documents like id/address proof, cancelled cheques etc. Some required documents can be seen here https://blog.payumoney.com/document-checklist-for-payment-gateway/

Update: Alternatively you can open a sole proprietor ship firm and then you are allowed to fulfil all the service providers.
