How to we create the " userdefined extentions " for the files that we save using our own applications//
For Example:
I have created a NOTEPAD application but I want to save the files with extension as " filename.dcb" or something like that so that whenever user clicks on the file .. it opens the file using my software/.

Yes, just download and unzip the file and add the C# class to your application.

There's a freeware class here which can associate a file extension with your application by making the appropriate registry settings:
