Hi there.. Go through it... it will help you. I work with VB.Net, but.. once you get the concept... syntax is nothing... The following code will be inside Insert_data Button..... 'First set the connection to the .mdb access database. Dim OleDbCon1 As OleDbConnection Dim ConStr As String ConStr = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=//the address of the mdb file//;Persist Security Info=False" OleDbCon1 = New OleDbConnection() OleDbCon1.ConnectionString = ConStr 'Open the database OleDbCon1.Open() 'Prepare the SELECT statement Dim CmdText As String="INSERT INTO Emp VALUES('EmpId', 'EmpName')" 'Create a OleDbCommand Dim Cmd As OleDbCommand = New OleDbCommand() Cmd.Connection = OleDbCon1 Cmd.CommandText = CmdText 'Now execute this query Cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() '///////// You can put it in a try.. catch.. end try... for safe side.
