Populating data from visual webpart controls(fileupload control) to customlist columns in sharepoint

Question

My question is like this..

I have 2controls named project source,project dest which has fileupload option created in visual webpart.And i have the same columns named in customlist.So i want a code to populate data from fileupload into the created customlist option.

when i upload a file its attachement should be displayed in customlist column and same with project dest too...

Help me out in coding this asap.
