Hi Friends ,

How to print pos bill on thermal roll printer using RDLC Report in asp.net ?

The Bill is continues format print on Paper roll using thermal printer !

One more thing, passing parameters to report is also responsible for slow performance, if possible try to fetch it from the database itself.

Yeah, refreshing the report multiple times will require more resources, it is only slow when the application runs for the first time, you can also print the report without preview which gives much faster performance.

Does it required to refresh ReportViewer1.ServerReport two times, check its really required or not , this may impact on performance

Hi Amit,
Thanks for the reply. Doing it in rdlc might solve my problem, but, rdlc is so slow when it comes to printing. Do you have any suggestions on how the printing will be fast? I attached below my snipet code on fetching the report from ssrs and display in a browser:

DateTime Start = dte.Lao2English(txtFrom.Text);
           DateTime End = dte.Lao2English(txtTo.Text);

           string StartDate = Start.ToString();
           string EndDate = End.ToString();
           try
           {
               ReportViewer1.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Remote;
               ReportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportServerUrl = new Uri("http://192.168.1.6/ReportServer");
               ReportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportPath = "/HPAReportServer/LakClaimsSummary";
               ReportViewer1.ServerReport.Refresh();

               ReportParameter[] reportParameterCollection = new ReportParameter[2];
               reportParameterCollection[0] = new ReportParameter();
               reportParameterCollection[0].Name = "StartDate";
               reportParameterCollection[0].Values.Add(StartDate.ToString());

               reportParameterCollection[1] = new ReportParameter();
               reportParameterCollection[1].Name = "EndDate";
               reportParameterCollection[1].Values.Add(EndDate.ToString());

               ReportViewer1.ServerReport.SetParameters(reportParameterCollection);
               ReportViewer1.ServerReport.Refresh();
           }
With this, I was able to display the report on the browser but it takes longer time to generate the report.
Hope you could give me some advice.

Design your report as usual (nothing fancy), just you need to remove the footer and shift it to the body part. That's all you have to do.
