problem with Remote Desktop Connection using Windows XP

hello friends,
i want to know about that can i use Remote Desktop Connection for net Meeting like Team Viewer... i just want to share Client system from my Office Through Remote Desktop Connection... is it possible with that or not tell me...

Hi, You need to have a static IP for Remote Desktop Connection. Team Viewer, LogMeIn save the location on their server, hence no static IP is required. Only server software has to be installed on the machine.

Why do you neeed to use Remote Desktop Connection when Team Viewer works so well? Is it because Team Viewer requires purchase of a license when used for a business, yet RDC is free? I don't need to use RDC due to the licensing issues but I am interested in knowing how to use RDC anyway. When I tried to use it, even for an intanet, I had difficulty and I could not get it to work for me.

hello amit i dont want that i know about it.. but it is based on Intranet and i m talking about internet... if no wire then it will not connect so i want used it like team viewer.. hope u understand what i want...

here is the simple procedure to get the remote connection to other system and see the desktop at another system.. if you are using windows then follow below procedure: 1. set the properties from right click on my computer icon and then click properties: select both check boxes according to the access you want on your system and other system you'll see window like this.. now click ok. and goto Start->All Programmes->Accessories->Remote Connection Click and it'll prompt you the system IP and Password. Enter the correct information and see the other desktop in you system. Enjoy.

thanks for the Reply amit.. but you did not understandmy problem i heard about we can share desktop using Remote Desktop connection on internet connection may be for this purpose have steps so i don't know what is the steps or how can i share Desktop using Remote Desktop Connection so if you have knowledge then please let me know... thanks in Advance

hi, Team view, Utlra VNC and Real VNC etc are software you can use for sharing desktop. these days skype is also coming with the feature of sharing desktop. try these tool and find which suites ur requirements.
