Problems with MIME

Question

I will have my final exam in one month and i have to write a pop3 client. My big problem is, if i receive an email, i search for the attachment. If it is a .txt file i can create the file and write into it with an StreamWriter, but if it's another file it doesn't work like this! Is there any support for emails, that you can automatically parse the attachment? The next problem is, if the attachment was encrypted, e.g. with base64 i can't decrypt it!
