Problems with this forum - improvements needed

Question

1) This forum would be a lot more useful if responses to a post can automatically be sent to everyone who posts to that thread. As it is, whenever I post a response to a question, I have to search for it to see if it was replied to. Often, there is no reply at all, indicating either that the OP either didn't bother or didn't see it, especially if it was a day or two later. This is rather discouraging. Is there any way to implement an automatic email feedback? 2) There is no way to edit a post that has been made with an error. An edit feature should be added to allow poster to correct a post made a few minutes earlier. 3) When code is posted, all the indentation is lost. This needs to be addressed.
