To avoid creating instance for a class. Avoid the class to inherit with normal class. Easy to access method and propertites.

Why to use static class? If there is a requirement that we don’t need to create the instance of the class but we want to access their class members, then we create class as static.

whenever we will declare a class by using static keywork is nothing but a static class. using static class we can access all static method without the creation of objects.

When we want to share only one instance of the class with all, which means that every time that class is accessed there is only one instacne behind the scenes that is used, it is useful when we create helper classes that contain methods which will be used in different parts of application. Consider Convert class in .NET base class libraries, it contains different kind of methods to convert a particular string to integer,float, decimal etc, it is static becasue nobody would need to create it's instances, it has common funcationality which is used by callers at different parts of their application code.
