How to get current date and 7 days prior date using juqery

For Example today is 19 July 2020,then current date will 19 July 2020 and 7 days prior date will be 12 July 2020.

Also I want date in this format

19 July 2020 should be converted to 19 July and 12 July 2020 to 12 July

i.e. I only want day and month.

Kindly guide me on this

This code will work,

//Mention today means the array will have today date

var date = new Date();
var last = new Date(date.getTime() - (i * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000));
var day =last.getDate();
var month=last.getMonth()+1;
var year=last.getFullYear();
const fulld = (Number(year)+'-'+Number(month)+'-'+Number(day)) // Format date as you like DateArray.push(fulld);
}
return DateArray;
}
console.log(GetDays(7)) //Will get the past 57 days formated YY-mm-dd

Got the solution
var today = new Date(); (Today's Date)
var lastWeekDate = new Date(today.setDate(today.getDate() - 7));(7 day prior date)
var month = today.toLocaleString('default', { month: 'long' }); (Current date month which is July)
var currentDay = (new Date).getDate();(Current dat will be 21)

var lastweekmonth = lastWeekDate.toLocaleString('default', { month: 'long' });(last week month which is also July)
var lastweekDay = lastWeekDate.getDate();(last week day will be 14)

var dateNew = currentDay + " " + month;(current date will be 21 July)
var lastWeek = lastweekDay + " " + lastweekmonth;(last week date will be 14 July)

var startDate = new Date(lastWeek);
var endDate = new Date(dateNew);

then I converted both to date
