"Description" for item column is not displayed on edit mode

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I verified all are standard only there is not more modification done, even the same thing is happening for new created web Apps and Site collection. Either it is exist or new.

There is no hidden columns and schema used for the same.

As MS support team suggested to do PSConfig and updated patch.

We are waiting for some other alternate solution as this is prod farm and frequently we can not do any changes on the same.

Can you check the View for Edit Mode?

Have u created this using Schema?

also check the properties of that column whether it is hidden or not?
