"Sending Emails through Outlook using C# and VB.NET"

Question

This may seem a bit dumb, but i presume the article "Sending Emails Through Outlook using C# and VB.NET", presented on your site, was for a windows application ? Doesn't make sense to use a web app to access the Outlook on your own PC. Please correct me if i am wrong (or tell me if i am right in my presumption). Thanks.
