Raise a event as soon as user click on row in gridview [asp.net]

The trouble is that there's no standard event for just clicking on the rows themselves or, if there is, I can't see it.

You might be able to use javascript to add an 'onClick' event to each row of the GridView as it's created. However, before resorting to that, I'd wait for further answers to see if anyone else has a better idea.
