randomising lists

I have database with questions 1-5 I want to populate a page with the questions and option,randomise the questions at button click with each question appearing once pls how can I do this

select from database with use of newid() in your query

in java by using Math.random() function you can do it. here i give you a example with a string array . you can use this logic in you problem also.. String[] name={"A","B","C","D","E"}; Set track=new HashSet(); for(int i=0;i=0 && num<5 && (!track.contains(num))) { track.add(num); System.out.println(name[num]); i++; } }
