RDLC Report designer in visual studio 2017 not working

Hello, I am new to Visual Studio 2017, I was designing an invoice in RDLC report that was not opening in 2017 version, it was opening with xml.

Earlier I was using vs 2013 , there I found the report designer but not in the latest version.

If there was any corruption in downloading the files, prefer downloading a fresh copy of it.

If error still exists then follow the steps:
Goto Visual Studio -> Tools -> Extension and Updates -> search for RDLC

There you can download the Report viewer without any issue.

Hey! Hope so it will work open project directory=>Properties=>DataSources and delete all files or extra files from there. now create report. It works for me

Step-1:
Go to Visual Studio Marketplace
1. Microsoft Rdlc Report Designer for Visual Studio
  
  Rdlc Designer and projects for ASP.Net and Windows Forms for Reporting Services Report Viewer Control
2. Microsoft Reporting Services Projects
  
  The Microsoft RDL report designer, projects and wizards for creating professional reports.
Download both package and install.

----OR----

We also can install using Visual Studio > Tools > Extensions and Updates

Step-2:

Once After installation Extensisons, re-open the project and Go to Add New Item > Visual C# Items section

Now we can See both Report and Reporting Wizard is there.

Step-3:

Now we need to add Report Viewer Control(both Windows and Web) from NUGET.

Step-4:

Now Go to Toolbox > General > Choose Items > .Net Components > Browse

Choose Item

Now you can see in tool box,

Thank you sir for your prompt response.

I had downloaded the file but there shows an error

The extension manifest is invalid.

Is there any other option?
