Read text data from an image file like .jpg, .bmp

Hi,
I want to write a program in c# to read text data from an image (eg. .jpg, .bmp) and write it to excel file one by one.

Is there any way to achieve it without using any third party tool.

You can use LEADTOOLS Recognition SDK technology in your application.
https://www.leadtools.com/sdk/products/recognition
You can leverage the IOcrEngine interface, which will allow you to extract text from an image.
Here is some sample code:
using (IOcrEngine _engine = OcrEngineManager.CreateEngine(OcrEngineType.LEAD, false))
using (RasterCodecs _codecs = new RasterCodecs())
{
    _engine.Startup(null, null, null, null);

    string inputImage = @"INPUT FILE PATH";

you can use tesseract ocr, can read text from jpg and bmp. and before you starting, you can go to try this free online image text extractor(http://www.online-code.net/ocr.html) using tesseract ocr 3.02 to have a test, it's with high accuracy and speed.
