Regarding Master/Detail page in asp.net

 I Want to ask one thing that i created master deatil page in asp.net .I have taken gridveiw with datasource1 and that table1 contains col1,col2.

and i taken detailsview with datasource2 and that table2 contains col1,col2,col3,col4,col5 etc.

col1 in table1 is same as col1 in table2. If i clicked on col1 in gridview then information of that col1 which is stored in table2 will display in deatilview.

but my question is that i want to update values of detailview i.e table2.after updation made to that detailview is there is a effect on gridview i.e table1.
