Whenever we create an application we divided our code into different folders or libraries to decouple our code from other parts of the application as well as for ease of development and that's what we called as Project Structure. From just looking into project structure you will able to identify where is the business logic, where is the data layer operations happen etc. The project structure is like the directory structure, for example, if you want to create the n-tier application you may have below kind of structure.
