Regarding Sharepoint Career

Hi Every one,

My name is rajesh i am a dotnet 1 and half year exp guy i would like to change to Sharepoint Domain and i have a knowledge in that but no expereince how can i get into that? help me inthis

if u have knowedge of sharepoint then while changing company u can mention knowledge of sharepoint so ur domain will automatically changed.

Hi Rajesh,

Yes you can get into SharePoint as you are a dot net developer. If you are working in an organisation you can ask them to change your domain, they will do it.
If you are looking forward in a new organization you will atleast have to know the basic rights.There are lot of material available for you to read so you can start reading about SharePoint 2010 and also you have free 15 days environment set up for developers in cloudshare.com. You can enroll and play around with it so that you may have some ideas.

Please do some hands on. Also I would suggest prepare for the SharePoint certification. So you will have good understanding of concepts.
