thanks rekha. the problem got resolved. yet another reference is giving an error like below:
Warning 12 Cannot load type library for reference "MSCommLib". Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED)) PTZControlPort

how to rectify this ? any suggestions?

u have to Register ur dll.. go to google n searh for "How to Register dll" ..
