Remove Duplicate string in vb.net

Hai Friends,

I have string like

= (Please call customer care to generate the ticket|787964465|hello| my string).

(Please call customer care to generate the ticket|787964465|hello| my string).

If this string repeat means it will remove the duplicate one in vb.net coding anyone help me pls..

It is because I have written 3 times Console.Writeline for testing. You can remove first two and then check.

           fullString = fullString.Substring(0, fullString.Length - 1) & ""

           Dim firstPart As String = fullString.Substring(0,fullString.IndexOf("."))
           Dim secondPart As String = fullString.Substring(fullString.IndexOf(".")+1)

           'Console.WriteLine(firstPart)
           'Console.WriteLine(secondPart)

           if(firstPart.Trim() = secondPart.Trim()) Then
               Console.WriteLine(firstPart)
           else
               Console.WriteLine(fullString)
           end if

You can try this logic may be some changes required.
dim fullString as string = "(Please customer care to generate the ticket|787964465|hello| my string). (Please customer care to generate the ticket|787964465|hello| my string)"

            Dim firstPart As String = fullString.Substring(0,fullString.IndexOf("."))
            Dim secondPart As String = fullString.Substring(fullString.IndexOf(".")+1)

            Console.WriteLine(firstPart)
            Console.WriteLine(secondPart)

            if(firstPart.Trim() = secondPart.Trim()) Then
                Console.WriteLine(firstPart)
            else
                Console.WriteLine(fullString)
            end if
