ReportViewer MVC

in order to use report viewer in MVC you need to install it for MVC first

Install-Package ReportViewerForMvc

step 1. Create a folder called Reports in your project.

step 2. Right click on folder-->Add new item----> Dataset.

step 3. On DataSet wizard click on Server explorer and select server name and Database name.

step 4. Drag and drop the table from explorer to DataSet.

step 5. Right click on Reports folder---> add-->New item-->Report

step 6. Choose the dataset name.

step 7.design a table. Specify all fields that you want to display in your report.

step 8. controller

ReportViewer reportViewer = new ReportViewer();
reportViewer.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Local;
reportViewer.SizeToReportContent = true;

var connectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["DbEmployeeConnectionString"].ConnectionString;

Not only in MVC but in general also the print button is not visible for rdlc .
so use javascript for printing.

Hi Sachin

I have already installed ReportViewerFor Mvc . When report is run these are not available
Print , Print Layout & Page Setup in ReportViewer in MVC . It does not display even in Internet Explorer.
