The message is correct , you can't have body in a get request.

var id=1;
var client=new RestClient("api/employee/"+id);// api/employee/1
or
var client=new RestClient("api/employee?id="+id)//api/employee?id=1

A REST API can have parameters in at least two ways:

As part of the URL-path (i.e. /api/resource/parametervalue )
As a query argument (i.e. /api/resource? parameter=value )

If you are using GET methods then pass parameters into URL as shown

private const string URL = "https://sub.domain.com/objects.json?api_key=123";
var client = new RestClient(URL);
client.Timeout = -1;

Remove

request.AddParameter(...) for Get Method.

However, you can add parameter in POST method.

If you want to pass the body parameter. Then your request should be the type of POST if you are adding details or PUT if you are updating details. You can't send body parameters using GET as you are doing here.
