Resize a image at runtime

Question

I Hope I have the correcet forum here for this question.

What I am basically looking to do is load a image from my solution that I want to use as my page banner, then resize it to a fixed size(much smaller than original) and display the resized image as my page banner.

Does anyone have any solution for my please??

Sorry, I just didn't read the below post clearly. So you want it for asp.net web page it's very easy, if you are using the html img tag or asp img tag then specify it's ID and add runat server tag. Example, Add this in aspx page asp : Image ID ="imgToBeResized" runat ="server" ImageUrl ="~/Images/bk.gif" /> Add this code at page load event in cs class protected void Page_Load( object sender, EventArgs e) { imgToBeResized.Width = 300 ; imgToBeResized.Height = 200 ; } You will see image automatically resizes

Thanks but that's not actually what I am looking for. I add a image with a resolution of 800x600 to my solution that I wish to use as my web page banner. Now If I add the image to a picture box it will use the 800x600 as the image size and this will obviously not do because the size of the picture box is only for instance 300x100. Now what I am looking for is to resize the 800x600 image to 300x100 and load the resized image in the picture box. thanks,
