restricting forms

i have a mdi container and how can i restrict in such a way where the form can only exists once? rather than everytime i click on a menu option and a new form appear again. i want to restrict the form from appearing more than once when the user click on the menu option. any ideas r welcome. thanks.

In your method that loads the form check to see if the form object exists in the MDI container.
