Retrieving Control Name on the postback

Hi There,

I have a form and on that there is a tab control. Each tab control has server button for Add, Update.

My query here is on clicking of Add or Update button there will postback so I need to catch the control id or name to identify which button has raised the postback event.

I tried like this before but i was getting empty string. The control which is doing post back is image button on the tab control.

Ideally, you can wire up method for each button and have the sender object to identify the source. if you dont want to do that, you can use page.Request.Params.Get("__EVENTTARGET")
