Search an external webpage for a link

Hi all,

I'm kinda new to C# but wanting to learn more about it.

I am trying to create some code that will allow a user to enter any website address they wish. Then the system will search that entered web page for a specific link. If it's present then it returns a message saying True and if it can't find it it returns a message saying False.

Sorry if the question is a simple one, but struggling to find the answers I need on the web so thought I would ask here.

Thanks for the answers guys but I don't think I have explained it very well what I am looking for.
Basically, I want to offer a user a discount to a monthly subscription if they install an image and link on their website linking to mine. I need a piece of script that will allow the user to enter their website address where they have added my link to theirs and then the system to check that webpage entered to see if the links exists on their web page. If it does it displays a true message and if it can't see it it display a false message.
Hopefully that makes more sense.

Hi dear ,
A simple way is that first you add all url probebly (according to your self) in your database,
After that any user enter any url then this(entered) url search from your database
if it find then redirect it to related page or show message ture but it is not find then show the message false or not found.

Yes you can do that first you need to store all the probables of the URL in database and then when a user enters if that URL exists or is he allowed to access that URL then proceed further
