search on sql query

As per my understanding from your question i would suggest following steps.

 

1. create a function like this. assumed you are using C#.

 

public DataTable SearchInTable(string Search)

{

DataTable Dt = new DataTable();

SqlDataAdapter Da = new DataAdapter("select [columnNames] from TABLE where (columns1='" + Search + "' or Column2='"+Search+"') or Column3='"+Search+"')",CONNECTIONOBJECT);

Da.Fill(Dt);

Return Dt; 

} 

 

Pass your textbox text to this function and change query as per your requirement and you will get the result in DataTable.
