Search Record Using Textbox

I am trying to search record using testbox as while i am typing in textbox the listbox should display record as per typed text in textbox without page refresh in C# Web base ... i have try all type code but not solved

kindly help me please...

if it is in jquery, then we can try below
search:

Hi,

You must create an API.

Call that api through Ajax request using jQuery or JavaScript on OnKeyPress Event

API Controller
[Route("api/search/{text}")]
public IActionResult Search(string text)
{
//...Logic

}

Search: <input id="searchText" type="text">
Your API Call from client side will look like this

  $("#searchText").keypress(function(){

its not working i waht search record into listbox using textbox when i start typing tne record should be start searching...i want to find ID related mo no stored in sql server database. using c# Web.
if possible please help me..
