Or you can check with name as well if the name of the clients are distinct.

Thank you Ranjeet, i have another problem if you can help me please , i want to use OrderBy in c# but it doesn't work . My code is :

using (LoginDatabaseEntities dc = new LoginDatabaseEntities())

{

var clients = dc.Clients.OrderBy(a => a.Numero_compte).ToList();

return Json(new { data = clients }, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet);

}

it told me that there is a problem with "OrderBy" but i don't know what to do ...
