Seperate business and web front for deployment.

13y1.5k.NET

Hi All,

We have to do the final deployment of our mvc website which is developed using C# in Visual Studio 2010. Currently our website is been hosted on the IIS test server and is working nicely.
For the final deployment the client has asked for certain specification.

The want the business logic to sit on IIS web server(ie the application server) , this will be behind the firewall. They want to separate the web front which will sit on the DMZ Server which will be visible to the internet. Can some one tell me how to separate the business logic and the web front to sit on different servers.

Thank you in advance.

The business logic is not exposed as a web service. Its a library project. I have published the website project using Web Deploy Package in Visual Studio. This gives me the bin,Views,Script etc etc folders excluding the Model and Controller folder. On the DMZ server do we have to host this folder. Actually I am new in ASP.Net web development.

Does your business logic exposed as webservice or it is just a library project?
