Sharepoint Cascaded dropdown issue in Firefox

Question

I have two drop downs in my sharepoint list form with cascading.

 

The cascading works perfectly fine in Chrome and IE however when we open the form in Firefox it behave indifferently. SOme times no data is shown in the dropdown, sometimes wrong data and sometimes right..

 

Has anybody faced this before and if yes how can we resolve it.
