Shift physical images from Database to local Disk

Question

Dear All,

We have database in which we stored physical images which occupied more database space. Now we want to transfer the stored images from database and store them physicaly on local computer Hard Disk and only the name of these images are stored in the database.

Is there any way to transfer the stored images from Database table to local Disk????. Please cooperate in this regards.
