Simple database program showing error.

I've created a very simple telephone diary windows form app using local database.

I have attached the solution and the error that I'm getting while hitting the save button.

Can anyone help me eliminate the error...

Hi Jaish,

After deleting the Id column like you shown, when I hit the edit button and edit data and then hit save now I'm getting this error.
What modifications do I need to make in my code now?
I'm a newby, so please bare with me. :)

For example, right click the xsd file in solution explorer and select "view design" option, which will open XSD designer inside VS and then right click and remove needed column.

The error coming as of you table structure. Table has ID column with auto increment.

So whenever a row adding, Id will be added automatically by database and you can't add it from front-end. So removing Id column from your Dataset or AppData.xsd or any such binding source will stop this issue.

Hey

This error occurs because you are inserting value in a column which is set as identity (auto increment).

Removing so will fix your issue.
