sitemap path can't display child nodes

i am create web.sitmap file with 4 nodes like this home-->roo-->child1
-->child2
but sitemap path contor display only home node what is the problem i am forward my code alse plz see zip file

ohh But thats obvious that i wont display child2 when you click on ROOT..

Because the sequence is given in web.sitemap..

that is like HOME -----> Root -------> Child1, Child2

when you click on root and transferred to root2.aspx, its backward position then it wont display Child1 or Child2

no ofcourse it not update in zip file but i am udated in my file
see home--> root--> child2 suppose i click on root node it is display home-->root that it but it is not disply child2 here that is the probleam

See in web.sitemap you specify just "root2" instead of root2.aspx

now its working in forward and backward direction

ok but i want navigate from home to root2 with out displaying that node in menu...your solution is sufficent to backward direction but in situvation forward is required...

hi... that was a small mistake.. you have taken SiteMapPath only in home page..

you have to take that SiteMapPath to all pages where you want to display sitemap..

and if ur using Masterpage then u just have to put in master page but in saperate pages you have to write to every page
